Adding a moody Cabo San Lucas vibe to this small but mighty powder room
Designing a room can transport you into places you would want to be
Who says small powder rooms must be boring? In this room, we transport ourselves to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Influenced by earthy colors, fun shapes and bold choices this room might be small but never boring!
First, we opted for a fun star and cross pattern on the floor in a natural greige color. The pattern and palette on the floor make the room feel wider. We contrasted the walls with the lighter floors using a fresco rich green color by Pure & Original. The fresco creates a rustic look you might see in Mexico. The built-in sink vanity boasts a luxurious look and provides a fun contrast to the darker walls. The room is finished with brass and rattan elements to bring warmth and texture, as in a Mexican villa in Cabo San Lucas!
